The 2006 EMS Memorial Bike Ride

I have wanted to do this for the last three years, but something ha always come up.
I AM going to do it this year!
The deadline for registration is the end of January, barely more than two months away, so don't delay in signing up if you want to participate or help out.

In May of 2006 EMS professionals from the Northeast will once again embark on a six day, six hundred mile bike ride from New York City to Roanoke, Virginia.  The ride will conclude as part of the annual EMS Memorial events.  For the fourth year we will be riding to honor the memory of those EMS professionals being inducted at the memorial service as well as in support of the "To The Rescue" Museum.

The route is currently being developed.  As with past rides, we have depended on EMS and fire departments along the way to host meals and water breaks.  Meeting our brothers and sisters along the way makes this an incredible experience.  Hosting the ride in your community is a great way to not only support the riders, but you will also be honoring those of whom we are riding for.  The route is tentative but if you feel your service is along the general route and you would like to host the ride, please contact EMSBIKERIDE05@aol.com.
